Akshay Kumar Birthday: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar was born to Hari Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia on 9 September 1967 in Amritsar, Punjab. Akshay’s real name is Rajiv Bhatia. However, he later changed his name.

Akshay-Sridevi worked together
Akshay Kumar was once a big fan of veteran and late actress Sridevi. He had told that when he was in Bangkok, he used to keep Sridevi’s posters in his room. And when he came to Bollywood, he got a chance to work with his favorite actress. But the climax of their film was not even shot.
Both were seen together in ‘Meri Biwi Ka Ajawaab Nahi’
The film in which Sridevi and Akshay Kumar worked together was ‘Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahi’. This film, shot in the 90s, remained incomplete due to the climax not being shot. Akshay had told in one of his interviews that the producer had left the film midway before the shooting. Later the film had to be released in the year 2004.
Akshay had said about this film that, ‘Sri and I held hands and said that we will definitely take revenge. But the revenge was not shot so how could we show it. Then what happened was that it was written on the screen that both of them took revenge together. After this, both of us are seen dancing.’
Akshay announced a new film on his birthday
Akshay has announced his new horror comedy film on his birthday. Its title is ‘Bhootiya Bangla’. This film of Akshay will be released in the year 2025 which will be directed by Priyadarshan.
